Your point is very well taken. I confess that I am guilty of this as well. It is hard to remember -- or easy to forget - that every one of those deaths involve a person, a human being - a mother, a father, a sister, a brother or 'just" a friend. It's too often only when one is personally impacted and made aware of those people (as you were) that it hits home.
